We’re Pleased to Welcome Friends of Alaska CASA

Sundog Media is proud to welcome Friends of Alaska CASA to our hosting and website services! Friends of Alaska CASA is a member of the national CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for children.

Friends of Alaska CASA (FAC), started as CASAs for Children in 1991, as a non-profit supporting CASA volunteers and the youth they serve. FAC was born when a generous CASA volunteer wanted to donate funds to the CASA program. She discovered that the state program, Alaska CASA, administered by Alaska’s state Office of Public Advocacy (OPA), was unable to take her donation. A non-profit was formed to receive and distribute that generous donation.

Today, the organization continues to collaborate with State and Tribal programs, raising funds to meet a shared goal of providing a CASA volunteer for every child who needs one.
