Happy Thanksgiving

On behalf of the Sundog Media team I want to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving. It is a bit of a tradition at our thanksgiving meals to take a moment and go around the room and share a few items that we are thankful for. This year we have so much to be thankful for and I thought I would share a few from my heart. At the top of the list would have to be my family and the fact that the triplets will be 2 years old shortly and we have survived thus far. Thanks to my wonderful family - 5 … [Read more...]
Trip of a lifetime and it’s impact

As many of you know, this summer the Law family embarked on an adventure that has been a dream of mine for years – bringing a boat up the Inside Passage and across the Gulf of Alaska to our home port of Whittier, AK. On it’s own it is a pretty amazing trip but by bringing 5 children with us for the first 1000 miles to Sitka, 3 being 18 month old triplets, that truly made it an honest to goodness adventure for me and Cathy. Along the way I shared the story at Sundog Adventures and this … [Read more...]
The Sundog Adventure Continues!

Joe, Cathy and the kids have made it to Ketchikan, Alaska! More than half-way through their journey, they've gone approximately 600 nautical miles (I'm no nautical mileage expert, so that's my best guess) in their 36' Grand Banks Classic boat named, SUNDOG. They've only got another few weeks or so to go before their three-month adventure comes to a close. If you have a moment or two, check out their blog, Sundog Adventures, which is full of great articles and photos from the trip and also … [Read more...]
An Adventure To Live

The Law Family's Adventure Up Alaska's Inside Passage One of my favorite quotes, in fact it is part of my email signature, is written by Mark Twain. “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." So, in the spirit of this quote by Mr. Twain, we are doing just that. This May (Lord … [Read more...]
Anchorage Alaska Web Design feels so good!

It seriously feels good to write Anchorage Alaska Web Design in this blog post. We'd write it out again but Google is watching and they might think we were getting a bit too carried away. Why does it feel so good? Because if you want to have any measure of success with your search engine rankings it's important to regularly add new content to your site. And, in that content, you need to include specific keywords that are both relevant to your industry as well as your geographical location. So … [Read more...]
Happy New Year – Our Goals

One thing I love about the start of a new year is the sense of new possibilities, fresh starts and the hope and desire to actively improve and grow.I am a type “A” sort of person. Every new year I sit down and write out new goals for myself. I break them down into categories such as faith, family, health and business and then I prioritize them. I keep this list as a flagged email in my inbox and throughout the year, as I clear out my inbox (which really does happen from time to … [Read more...]
Happy New Year!
New years eve is a special time for me, after all I chose this day very carefully so that I would remember our wedding anniversary each year. Today we are celebrating our 21st anniversary and I realize not only is it easy to remember what day we were married but now that we have triplets that are one year old I can always just add 20 years to the triplets age to figure out how many years I have been married - how is that for planning:) I want to just take a moment and not only wish everyone a … [Read more...]

Hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving!

As the holiday season gets into full swing, I just wanted take a moment and say that this is the time of year when I take time to reflect on the important things that have happened over the last twelve months, as well as think about my goals and aspirations for the new year to come.
